In the old days of Google and Search
Engines, it was touted that Content is King. That was true, back in
the day you could shell out ten articles a day on your site, place
back links to all of your articles and get a high Google Page Rank.
Ever since the Penguin Updates however, things have been a little
different.
SEO is still an important factor, but
Google is now focused more on Quality rather than quantity. The
sites who have content that is being shared, commented on, being
related to, those are the sites that are getting the high ranks now.
Before all this happened, you would have Website Owners outsourcing
their content to the cheapest possible people they could possibly
find, all in an effort to save a buck or two. That's when Google
stepped in and said, nope, no longer, we've heard the plea of Website
Owners all over the Web and are going to make it a bit more fair.
Your readers need to be able to relate
to your content. If they can relate to that content, they're likely
to come back and be a regular reader. They're also more likely to
share that content with others in their Networks. If your content
can be related to, that equals Quality Content. Telling a story
often works wonders here.
Quality post are also informative.
Informative means more than just the facts. Anyone can write a post
that has nothing but facts in it. However, it takes a Skilled Writer
to write a post that can include predicaments about the future of
tech, social media, and the likes. What ever your topic happens to
be. Motivational Quotes are often used, but few actually know how to
understand them and use them in context.
Effort must be given to a quality post
on your blog/website. If no effort is given and the person just
shells out article after article, the result will show in the
finished product. Here the saying Massive Action gives you Massive
Results applies. This does not mean that you should shell out
article after article so your Website can rank or so you can get more
views and start making money off the adverts. Readers have come to
expect quality and tend to shy away from sites that have a lot of
grammatical errors and the likes.
An easy to read format is a must. If
your writing style is too advanced for the common everyday blog
reader, you're not going to get a lot of readers. A Quality Writer
will be able to write in simple words and make it so everyone can
understand them. This is also why you need to have someone who
understands the Language that you are writing in.
One more thing that you can look for in
a Quality Writer is their desire to always continue to improve
themselves. If they don't have that desire, to grow and understand
the Language that they are working with, then it's going to show in
their content.
If you would like to hire a Quality
Writer, I hope that you'll consider me. However, there are Quality
Writers out there that can be found. One can't make a living working
for peanuts. Just like you can't build a Quality Website with just
any content that is out there. It has to be up to par and have a
Writer behind it that is willing to do the research and not use two
year old data that could be outdated.
